This privacy notice for Wear The Wall Ltd (doing business as Where The Wall (‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’), describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share your information when you use our services.

 

What data do we collect?

We collect information you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in our activities, or otherwise when you contact us.

We collect names, email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses of people and organisations enquiring about and/or booking activities with us.

Some information – such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics – is automatically collected when you visit our website. This information does not reveal your specific identity and is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

 

What do we use the data for?

In short, we use your information to provide, improve and administer our services and to communicate with you. We also process your information for security and fraud prevention and to comply with the law.

We may use your information to fulfil and manage your orders, to facilitate the delivery of our services, to send administrative information to you, to respond to inquiries or offer you support and to request feedback.

We also hold a mailing list and may contact you for marketing and promotional purposes, and to inform you of future activities.

 

How do we store the data?

Client data is stored in our business email accounts, Google Calendar, Google Drive, WordPress booking system, Paypal/Stripe payment account, and occasionally shared (names, phone numbers and/or email addresses only) via secure messages with our tour and workshop leaders. Documents including some of these details may also be saved on our work computers.

All of these are password protected and encrypted or on secure sites.

If we ever print or write down booking details, we will destroy these papers after the event takes place, by shredding them.

 

Who do we share data with?

We will never share your personal data with anyone, unless required as part of a legal investigation.

 

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by answering any message we send you or by contacting us.

You have the right to ask us about what data we hold and/or ask us to destroy our records of your personal data at any time.
